FWD Vietnam contributed more than 23 billion VND for protecting people against COVID-19
FWD Vietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd. (FWD Vietnam) has made a series of meaningful contributions worth over 23 billion VND to help the community beat the pandemic and bring life to the new normal.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh, Chief Business and Marketing Officer of FWD Vietnam said: "As a people-led life insurer, FWD Vietnam understands how important and urgent it is to protect our community during the pandemic. That's why we stepped up our support to collaborate with authorities and organisations to help those in need. By working together, we can overcome this pandemic better."
Of the contributions, 1 billion VND was delivered to the Government's COVID-19 vaccine fund; another 1 billion VND was handed over to the Ministry of Health to equip an online briefing system for anti-epidemic operations, and the total amount of 4 billion VND was donated to the Fatherland Front Committees in Ho Chi Minh City for the purchase of medical equipment for vaccination and patient care activities in the local areas.
FWD Vietnam also presented 2,000 gifts including masks, protective equipment, and nutritional food with a total value of 2 billion VND to 2,000 doctors and nurses currently working at COVID-19 field hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Long An, and Nghe An. In addition, 20 ventilators worth 5.5 billion VND were contributed to the hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City by FWD Group for the treatment of severe COVID-19 patients.
Simultaneously, FWD Vietnam has accompanied and provided financial support to hundreds of customers affected by COVID-19 with a total value of more than 10 billion VND, helping customers to feel more secure and confident in their health protection.
