Introduction / Job summary

The Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) will assist the Director, Project Management Office and Chief Strategy Officer in implementing and ensure successful competition of projects cross functionally.

The Job

  • Assist with setting up, managing and ensuring timely completion of cross-functional strategic projects assigned by the Project Steering Committee (PSC).
  • Provide project management support to cross-functional project managers in project set-up and implementation to ensure effective implementation of functional projects.
  • Serve as the central point to coordinate with cross functional project managers to track project implementation progress, consolidate and escalate key project issues to PSC/functional committees for timely decision making.
  • Assist with preparing for the monthly PSC meetings.

The Person

  • University Degree in a business related discipline.
  • 3-5 years working experience in project management or similar role in financial services industry, preferably life insurance.
  • Analytical skills – ability to work with numbers effectively, analyze and make sound judgements.
  • Strong writing, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Good knowledge in financial services industry, especially life insurance industry.
  • Communicate effectively with different stakeholders, especially with senior management.
